By High-Speed Rail

G trains run constantly from Zhengzhou East to Kaifeng North in 20–30 minutes (¥20–26); then 11 km — taxi/didi about 25 minutes (~¥30), bus 38/53, or the ¥2 HSR shuttle.

By Intercity Rail

Zhengkai C-trains link Zhengzhou East with Songcheng Road and Kaifeng stations — fastest 25 minutes at ¥20 with metro-style scan-and-ride e-tickets; the easiest line from Xinzheng Airport (direct trains ~47–70 min, ~¥32).

By City Bus

Routes 1, 15, 20, 30 and Sightseeing Line 1 stop at the main Yingbin Gate (east gate); routes 38/39/49/51/53 serve the Duang Gate on Longting North Road; holiday tourist loops (¥5–10) connect all major sights.

By Car

Zhengkai Avenue runs straight from Zhengzhou in about an hour; lots near the Yingbin and Duang gates (~1,000+ spaces, ¥5–10 per entry) — arrive before 09:00 on holidays.

By Water

The city's Bian River cruise network links Longting Lake and Bao Gong Lake through about nine piers and can set you down near the park — the most atmospheric arrival, especially after dark.

Getting Around

Everything inside the walls is walkable; Song-style boats cruise the recreated Bian River from Dongjing Wharf (the lantern-lit night cruise is a paid extra), and the Phase-3 rides are steps from the North Zone.
