Wulong lies 170 km southeast of central Chongqing, about 2.5 hours by road or rail; all sightseeing funnels through the Xiannu Town visitor center (the pyramid building).

Train + bus

Chongqing North to Wulong station (about 2 hours, ¥25), then a 40-minute transfer bus to Xiannu Town center.

Direct coach

From Chongqing's Longtousi or Sigongli stations to Xiannu Town, or the scenic express from Jiefangbei.

Self-drive

G65 expressway to Wulong county (2 hours), then 30 minutes up to the visitor center.

Day tour

Taxi / ride-hail

About 2.5 hours door-to-door from central Chongqing - split three or four ways it rivals the coach, and keeps your own schedule.

Getting Around

Shuttle buses inside the scenic zone link visitor center, Three Bridges, Longshuixia Gap and Xiannu Mountain; everything else is on foot.
