Rail + bus

Chengdu/Chongqing trains to Dazu South station, then the 205 bus or taxi to Baodingshan (about 30-40 minutes).

Direct coach

From Chongqing's Chenjiaping or Longtousi stations to Dazu town, transfer bus 205 to Baoding stop.

Self-drive

About 1.5 hours from Chongqing via the Rongchang expressway; parking at both sites.

Day tour

Chongqing day tours combining Dazu with Wulong or the city sights run year-round.

Taxi / ride-hail

About 1.5-2 hours by road from central Chongqing - for two or three travelling together it rivals rail-plus-bus, door to door.

Getting Around

Bus 205 links Dazu town and Baodingshan; Beishan sits on the town's north edge - a short taxi hop between the two sites.
